Farm weddings are my FAVOURITE! Barb’s family farm in Ngatea was the perfect setting for their laid-back, super fun day. I had the best time photographing Barb & Luke; evidenced by what you’ll see below. Has it even been a great day if you don’t enter your reception covered in mud with a grin on your face and drink in your hand?! I mean, before we even got to the ceremony Luke turned around at the ‘first look’ to find his best man wrapped in a table cloth (because he forgot to pack his fake wedding gown), instead of his bride haha! Barb rode to the end of the aisle on a tractor, we jumped in the trailer to be driven to photo locations, and their group of friends were the best company to hang out with. This day couldn’t have been better (… except maybe if I’d known about the fireworks that were being set up on the other side of the pond during the ceremony and not jumped to the conclusion that the person crawling slowly through the bushes was going to shoot us from the Maimai 😉 I spent a good few minutes of the ceremony freaking out and trying to decide what to do before an opening presented itself for me to tell the father of the bride, only to be told “it’s all good, that’s Kevin” hahahaha).

Anyway, here’s a glorious little sneak peek of a perfect day. Don’t miss the few funnies that I’ve left in there for a giggle!

Barb & Luke, you guys made my job so easy and I’m so thankful I got to witness your epic day! Thank you for trusting me with these moments and letting me come along for the ride x
