Lynette & Richard became husband and wife at Kumeu Valley Estate on Sunday, after a long and trying journey to their wedding date! Originally set to be married in April with a number of family members and guests flying in from overseas, these two were another pair affected by COVID. Despite some significant people being unable to attend in person due to ongoing travel restrictions, their was a day filled with joy and celebration after what has been a difficult year in many regards for Lynette & Richard. With the bridal party filled with their kids, the rain holding off for the perfect amount of time, acknowledgement of the journey that led to them becoming Mr & Mrs Skelly, and a whole lot of laughs, it couldn’t have been a more perfect day!
It was the best thing witnessing how clearly stoked all of their family and friends are that they found each other; a perfect demonstration of what a blended family done well looks like. Thank you both so much for allowing us to capture your day for you. It was an honour to photograph the start of an incredible journey as husband and wife! Enjoy this first look back on your day!

There wasn’t a dry eye in the place as Lynette came down the aisle to her beaming groom!

We even got to sneak out for some sparkler fun before the dancing began, and were treated to a little grove of candles by the Kumeu Valley Estate team! What a dream!
