It was perfectly fitting that we got a stunning sunny afternoon to go to the beach on Anna & Matt’s wedding day. These two LOVE the beach and have been trying to visit as many NZ beaches as they can since they began dating. They’re adventurous, loyal, and love God. It sounds like they also like to take a few risks… one of which resulted in Matt having surgery for a broken collar bone only weeks before their big day- he was an absolute champ despite a mostly immobile right arm which even lost sensation during the ceremony and made exchanging rings a little tricky!

Matt & Anna love God, and were married in St Andrews Church in Matakana, with the loveliest bunch of family and friends surrounding them. It was an absolute joy to be photographing their wedding with so many kind and thoughtful people in attendance! Make sure you scroll to the bottom to see a little God-wink in the form of a rainbow as they entered their reception.

Anna & Matt, thank you so much for allowing me the honour of documenting the start of what I know will be a long and happy marriage. I can’t wait to see all the fun places you visit as husband and wife! Enjoy this first look back on your incredible day x

Truly, check out the rainbow touching down on Anna & Matt as they entered their reception! A little show of heaven’s celebration on the union of these two, I reckon.

Bridal party goals right there.
