Rachel & Draz- Songbird Retreat Wedding

“FINALLY!” This one word kept coming up over and over throughout Rachel & Draz’ wedding day at Songbird Retreat.  Two years and four attempts later, Rachel & Draz finally tied the knot in front of an intimate gathering of their nearest and dearest. This day was most recently supposed to happen over Auckland Anniversary weekend, right when the cyclone and flooding hit. Instead of getting married that weekend, they were flooded in at their original venue, the Boutique Barn. Needless to say, it was a great relief to have their wedding day arrive, with no rain to be seen, and everything together as it should have been!

Rachel & Draz are a joy to watch together. They are a team, and they seem to anticipate the other’s needs without any words exchanged. Draz is a complete gentleman and served Rachel beautifully throughout the day (and couldn’t keep his kisses off her when they were close, it’s the sweetest thing!). They’ve got a tight knit group of friends in their corner, and a gorgeous doggo Marley who made sure he was heard at all the right parts of their ceremony and reception! It was such a fun day, which I was honoured to get to witness.
