Rachel & Shane tied the knot on Friday with a perfect celebration at The Red Barn in the mighty Waikato. After meeting and falling in love whilst living in the same Uni residence, these two have merged their city girl and farm boy life to enter into forever together! These two complement each other so well and definitely have a marriage filled with adventure ahead of them; docking lambs and riding motorbikes and all. They are surrounded by so many fun and lovely people, and it’s been a long while since I’ve seen such great party dancing at the reception- we didn’t want to leave! (If you’re looking for an awesome DJ you should definitely check out Thomas Hill, he was incredible!)
I spent this whole day in my absolute happy place; a beautiful couple who are so in love (and trust me to do my thing) in front of my camera, a bridal party who were an absolute dream to hang out with, and a venue as stunning as the Red Barn! Even the rain couldn’t hold us back in creating dreamy portraits!
Rachel & Shane, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your day for you! There were so many great reactions as Rachel came down the aisle to her man! Lots of happy tears were shed all throughout the barn!
If you’re looking for an epic driveway for photos, look no further! The Red Barn is seriously a dream to photograph at, and their staff took such great care of us all day long!
Hands down the most impressive first dance I’ve ever witnessed! These two had a fully choreographed dance filled with lifts and spins and dips that left everyone’s jaws on the floor!
