If you’d told me I’d photograph a guy who considers kissing in front of a camera a ‘reward’ for his modelling, I wouldn’t have believed you. But Oh My Goodness then along came Sam! What an absolute dream of a pair to spend the evening with! I felt like I was cheating, they were that easy to photograph (and such great company too). But anyway, you’re here to see them, not hear about how easy that made my job haha.
It took 5 seconds flat for me to realise that they adore each other and are the best of friends. There’s no pretense; they are who they are. (I reckon they’d have a hard time narrowing down their wedding guest list, cause I can’t imagine anyone wouldn’t want to be friends with them.) Super fun, up for anything, genuine, kind, and the biggest cheerleaders of one another… Ash and Sam were made for each other. During their session I got to talk with just Ash for a while, and the way her eyes light up when she speaks about Sam speaks volumes to the depth of their love. What an honour to get to share their time and capture some of that love. (And what an achievement to not have a grundy shot of Sam, by the sounds of it 😉 haha sorry Sam.)
