We got to watch the sunrise with a beach all to ourselves for Emma & Ryan’s Wenderholm engagement session! There’s something special about watching daylight break with your favourite person in the world… especially when you’re both looking your best and have a reason to just love on each other for an hour and a half!
Ryan grew up holidaying at Wenderholm, so naturally it was their first pick of location for their engagement session, even though it meant getting up at 5.15 on a Saturday morning after submitting a uni assignment the night before! If that isn’t dedication to getting epic photos, I don’t know what is!
Now, I’m sure you’ll see plainly in these images that Emma and Ryan absolutely adore each other… But let me tell you what a joy it was to hang out with them for the morning! They both practically melted together in each-other’s arms and it was so sweet witnessing just how in love they really are. These two are just so well suited to one another.
Emma & Ryan, thank you for being so vulnerable with your love in front of my lens! For letting it radiate out of you, rather than hiding it away. Your marriage is going to be such a beautiful one to watch, and I’m so honoured I get to capture it for you! Enjoy this first look at how perfect a pair you make!
How sweet is this next image! Heck yes he’s proud she’s his fiance!!!
I’m always so thankful when my couples trust me on location choices! These two didn’t even bat an eye when I suggested we leave the beach and head back to the entrance to Wenderholm Regional Park to take some photos on the driveway! There were DOC workers off to the right, and the odd car driving through, but OH MY the LIGHT and bokeh in these last images! If you’re trusting me in a decision like this despite thinking I’m a bit crazy, I promise it’ll be worth it!
