I’ve been losing my mind over Gabi & Kris’ engagement session, with Maukatia Bay showing off the best sunset Auckland weather has dealt me in AGES! These two are living proof that sliding into someone’s DMs on instagram can land you a spouse. From chatting on insta, to a gorgeous little family, these two have become such a great team. They are so in sync that they both planned their engagement, without the other knowing, and Gabi bet Kris to popping the question while they were away on holiday! (So of course, he surprised her and reciprocated.)
Gabi has danced her whole life, which made taking these photos the best fun. I gave them permission to go for it- give me all the leaps, jumps, poses and affection- and I was not disappointed. I basically squeaked myself through their session from sheer excitement behind my camera hahah.
